Mandatory Training

Husky requires all contractors performing work at Husky locations to complete a site-specific safety orientation before starting work. This orientation, as well as a validation check of required certifications, helps ensure basic safety knowledge for all persons working at Husky locations.

Depending on the specific scope of work and hazards identified, other requirements, including training, may apply and will be communicated at time of award.

All contractors are required to be familiar with Cenovus’s policies and standards and life-saving rules.

If you have questions, contact the Husky representative listed in your agreement or email vendor.relations@huskyenergy.com.

Husky has adopted the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) nine Life-Saving Rules across all its operations. The simplified set of Life-Saving Rules provides industry workers with specific actions to protect themselves and colleagues from fatalities or serious injuries. All contractors must have Life-Saving Rules training before working on a Husky site.
